the movie is a two hour long panic attack.

great story though?

a little plot summary from wikipedia:

The series details the life of Mitchell Hundred (also known as The Great Machine), the world's first and only superhero, who, in the wake of his actions on 9/11, is elected Mayor of New York City. The story is set during Hundred's term in office, and interwoven with flashbacks to his past as the Great Machine. Through this, the series explores both the political situations Hundred finds himself in, and the mysteries surrounding his superpowers.

i picked up all ten volumes from the library and can't put them down! 

the story is great and includes many of today's political issues. they just all happened 10 years ago in the story. 

i am simply obsessed!

justice league of the future

dc comics just announced justice league 3000. so far there are some pretty nifty costume designs but not much on the story. i am sorta hoping it's set in the multiverse and dc one million-esque.

what a great run on green lantern! the ending was phenomenal with the closing of the hal and carol storyline. i'm interested to see if i still like the book once the new creative teams joins next month. i keep dropping dc books due to my lack of interest in the characters and storylines. i'm a bad fan!

ryan murphy

i absolutely adore the televisions shows from ryan murphy. i was obsessed with popular in junior high and nip/tuck in high school. i still can't stop watching glee, american horror story and the new normal. this week, glee got renewed for two more seasons and i think most fans are hoping they move the show to new york to follow rachel, kurt, blaine and crew.

i'm sorta loving the fact that dc comics is making the flashpoint storyline into a movie. it's probably the last time we see pre-new 52 stories run through the animated universe. what a bummer.
