C2E2 2015

i'm getting super excited for this year's C2E2.

i always love their poster since it features chicago and the latest key superheroes.

it also looks like my favorite, dc comics, will have a booth since they are a partner this year!

got my tickets

its the last day for $45 3-day passes to the first annual chicago comic & entertainment expo.

i'm the proud owner of a 3-day pass! i cannot wait!

chicago comic con

a quiet rebranding which resulted in a cooler logo & the lack of big exhibitors resulted in wizard world becoming a giant shopping mall this year. i was disappointed in the lack of dc comics and marvel. who doesn't go for the sweet free swag?

below are some photos i took at the con and here is a great article about the lack of exhibitors which is really disappointing. i read some panel reports and fans were asking where the exhibitors were. its okay though since C2E2 hits in april and both dc and marvel have already signed on. i cannot wait for that.

sdcc: new justice league book

an updated justice league book is much needed since i don't care for the current for the past year. good thing that dc comics announced it at this year's san diego comic con.

so far the announced members include:

• green lantern / hal jordan (i wish it was kyle)
• mon-el / superman replacement
  
• donna troy / wonder woman replacement
  
• batman / dick grayson
• congorilla

i am thinking the rest of the line up includes:

• red arrow since the rest of the teen titans are on the team.
• starfire since well see the description above.
• flash since...the same as the above.

the shadows clearly highlight an archer and a streaky figure in the air. it could possibly be ice but, i just don't think so. if donna and dick jumped ship from titans to join a league, they should obviously be polite and join the other hard hitting titans. the titans needed to grow up and perform legacy roles in team books to show their maturity and lifelong unity. hal can act as their mentor and congorilla can be the awkward plastic man character.

i hope the team goes by the name of justice titans. it would be very superman/batman.

sdcc: dc comics action figures i need asap

matty collector uploaded their san diego comic con slide show to facebook. it was the best 140 images i have seen on facebook ever.

this blackest night hal jordan action figure collection is a MUST buy. i will probably have to get it on ebay since i won't be able to attend san diego comic con. i will be attending chicago comic con as usual. i did volunteer to work this year! anyway, i wonder if the hal jordan collection directly reflects what is going on in the series this summer or just pure excitement for collectors. it doesn't matter to me...it will look great next to the other 8 figures. i will have one from each corp except the star sapphires so i will need to pick up one those figures from last year's collection!
